Paula Price is the founder and owner of Batir Architecture, Ltd., which she has led for over 22 years. “Batir,” French for “to build,” reflects the firm’s core philosophy: build meaningful architecture, enjoy the process and deliver clients a high-quality, collaborative team experience.
After earning her degree from the University of Illinois and gaining experience at several firms, she launched Batir to fill a gap she saw in the industry and created a design firm rooted in a design-build mindset, practical execution and a genuine respect for work-life balance. They have delivered successful work across commercial, technology, industrial and medical sectors, and offer architectural design, construction management, owner representation and master planning. Batir also has a DBA that provides pre-engineered steel buildings.
Beyond her practice, Paula is deeply engaged in the community. She serves as Board Chair of the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce and actively supports civic and spiritual organizations.
