For Carlos Aréchiga, Hacienda Real is more than just a restaurant, it is an opportunity to explore Mexican culture and share it with the Tri-Cities community. As locals, Carlos and his brothers sought to create gathering places where friends and family can come together and experience authentic Mexican hospitality.
Hacienda Real focuses on home cooked Mexican cuisine, including pozole rojo, ceviche de pescado and enchiladas de mole. In addition to Hacienda Real, the brothers own and operate five other restaurants in the Tri-Cities — Playa, Tía Carmen, Revolución Bar, El Jefe and Salsa Verde — each with its own unique focus, including takeout tacos, margaritas and Latin music.
The Tri-Cities are special to Carlos and he regularly gives back to this community through involvement with local Chambers of Commerce, school fundraising events and supporting other small businesses. In addition to this he strives to create local jobs and opportunities by hiring and building leadership locally.
