Rosie’s Home Cookin’ may look like a regular neighborhood diner, but it’s powered by a much bigger mission. Owned by the Veteran Business Project (VBP), it is part of a program to help transition military veterans into civilian life through small business ownership.
The nonprofit places veterans into established businesses where they gain structure, purpose, and the support of a team. This approach eases the transition from military to civilian life, improves mental health and wellness, and gives veterans real hope for their future.
VBP was co-founded by Vietnam combat veteran, Marine officer, attorney, and businessman Lynn Lowder alongside Dale Eisenberg, a seasoned restaurant owner and passionate supporter of the veteran community. Together, they are creating meaningful paths to ownership roles, successful futures, and a life beyond the risk of suicide.
When you dine at Rosie’s Home Cookin’, you’re supporting a mission that helps veterans rebuild their lives through purpose, community, and opportunity.
