BusyButternut LLC is a boutique, luxury catering company serving signature “appetizer-only” small bites and handhelds.
The company specializes in events with less than 100 guests, from simple delivery items to full-service catering and bartending.
BusyButternut was founded in 2012 by third-generation Napervillian Cynthia Hyett. A graduate of Naperville North High School, Hyett grew up surrounded by the spirit of generosity, watching her parents and grandparents dedicate their time and talents to giving back to the community. Their example instilled in her a deep passion for service, creativity and bringing people together.
As the chef-owner of BusyButternut, Hyett channels that same sense of purpose into her culinary work, creating memorable experiences with her “mini morsel masterpieces.” With a vision rooted in community, hospitality and excellence, she continues to honor her family’s legacy by sharing her love of food and service with others.
