Dr. Dino Mendez is a double-board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in Lombard and Naperville locations. He specializes in cosmetic surgeries of the breasts, tummy and eyelids. His goal with each patient is to create results that are balanced, natural and true to the patient’s features while also being more refreshed and vibrant. In turn, his patients feel more confident with a boosted self-esteem.
Growing up in the western suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Mendez has always been driven by excellence. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Illinois Wesleyan University with an undergraduate degree in biology. From there, he attended medical school and completed his General Surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Mendez received his training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas — one of the country’s most prestigious plastic surgery programs.
Dr. Mendez is known for his meticulous technique, honest approach and commitment to patient satisfaction. He takes the time to converse with his patients, ensuring they feel heard and confident in their choices. Dr. Mendez treats every patient with dignity and respect and only offers surgery if he believes he can make a significant improvement that the patient will be happy with for years to come.
During surgery, he uses long-lasting numbing techniques and non-narcotic pain management to help make a patient’s recovery as smooth as possible, with minimal pain and a quick return to daily life.
Dr. Mendez also performs reconstructive surgery on skin cancer patients, particularly on the face and neck.
