Dr. Mark J. Goodwin, founder and president of Midwest Cardiovascular Institute (MCI), is a highly respected cardiologist with over four decades of experience in cardiovascular medicine. He has been a leader in interventional cardiology, structural heart interventions, and cardiac imaging. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to advancing cardiovascular care through clinical excellence, leadership and research.
In addition to his leadership at MCI, Dr. Goodwin has held key positions such as Chief of Cardiology at Edward Hospital and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. His contributions to the field include serving as an investigator in numerous clinical trials, presenting at medical conferences and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
