The Cardiovascular Institute Ambulatory Surgery Center (CIASC) is a first of its kind, purpose-built facility in Naperville dedicated to delivering exceptional, easily accessible and cost-effective cardiovascular care in a comfortable outpatient setting. CIASC was designed to bring hospital-level cardiovascular procedures closer to home while prioritizing the patient experience, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
Leading the care at the center is the nationally recognized cardiologists and electrophysiologists at Midwest Cardiovascular Institute, based in Naperville and Elmhurst. These physicians have been providing world-class cardiovascular care in the western suburbs for 30+ years and their longstanding reputation reflects a deep commitment to patient-centered care. The center is a joint venture with Endeavor Health Edward Hospital, the largest non-academic provider of heart care in Illinois combining physician leadership with hospital collaboration to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Together, this partnership has built the first Joint Venture cardiology ASC in Illinois. CIASC offers interventional procedures for coronary artery disease, as well as treatment for peripheral artery and venous disease.
Electrophysiologists at the ASC also perform select cardiac rhythm procedures, including device implantations and ablation procedures, in state-of-the-art labs. By delivering advanced care in an outpatient setting, CIASC provides patients with greater convenience, lower cost and faster recovery without compromising clinical excellence.
