Olbrich Botanical Gardens features 16 acres of diverse gardens, including the tropical Bolz Conservatory and the only Royal Thai Pavilion in the continental US. Olbrich is open year-round and offers a gift shop, events, classes, exhibits and more, providing enriching experiences for all ages.
With Executive Director Tanya Zastrow at the helm since 2021, Madison’s public garden flourishes because of Olbrich’s dedicated staff, volunteers, supporters and the strength of its public-private partnership between the nonprofit Olbrich Botanical Society and the City of Madison Parks Division.
In 2025, Olbrich Botanical Gardens is defining its vision for the future by creating a comprehensive master plan to address aging infrastructure and potential garden expansion, while also addressing the needs of the growing Greater Madison area.
With a record-setting 372,000 guests visiting the gardens in 2024, Olbrich Botanical Gardens is a hot spot for people and plants alike!
