Automotive: Kayser Ford

Kayser Ford has been serving the Madison area for 100 years. The dealership traces its roots back to 1925 when its founder, Paul Kayser, started selling Ford Model T’s in downtown Madison. In the 1980s, the dealership was purchased by Pat Baxter, and is run today by his sons Sean, Ryan and Brendan (pictured left to right).

Over the decades, Kayser Ford has grown alongside the Madison community, evolving from a local business into a trusted name in automotive sales and service. Its parent company, Kayser Automotive Group, operates several Wisconsin dealerships in Madison, Sauk City, Watertown, Janesville, Oconto Falls and Pulaski. Kayser dealerships represent American brands such as Ford, Lincoln, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge and RAM.

Kayser Automotive Group is known for its customer- centric approach. Its “Kayser Promise” motto guarantees to make the car-buying process simple. Kayser’s sales professionals don’t work on commission. Therefore, they are focused on understanding a buyer’s needs and getting them into the perfect vehicle without the hassle and pressure that comes with commission-based sales.

Kayser provides a three-day money-back guarantee and free home delivery, making car-buying easier than ever. The dealership’s full-service body shop offers customers free loaner cars to use while their vehicle is in service.

Kayser Ford is also dedicated to serving the Madison community through its involvement in local organizations. This spirit of uplifting the community began with Pat Baxter and has continued to be a central focus of Kayser Automotive Group. In 2014, the Baxter family created the Patrick and Lee Baxter Family Foundation, which has provided more than $720,000 to Wisconsin families.
