Spotlight on…Kristina Ljujic!

Today we sat down with Kristina Ljujic, our new Project Assistant.  She just started this month, and we’ve had a lot of fun getting to know her! Kristina is working on as well as sales team support (plus whatever else is asked of her – she’s a real team player!).

We are so happy to have Kristina as part of the Nei-Turner team, and we can’t wait to see the creativity she brings to our publications and services!

Check out Kristina’s interview below, and check back each week as we shine a spotlight on another Nei-Turner employee.

Milwaukee, WI (near Leon’s!)

Street cred:

I spent six and a half years in radio at iHeartMedia Milwaukee working in Promotions, Digital and more.  I spent my time handling winners, working at concerts and events, and meeting all sorts of awesome people in the music industry!

What is your creative outlet?

Photography, making ordinary things look gorgeous, planning/decorating for parties and baking.

What’s your favorite part about working for Nei-Turner Media Group?

It feels like I’m part of a family here!

In the office, you are the…

new one!

If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?

Read.  I have a stack of books that I just haven’t had time to get to.

If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning medal for?

Customer service.  I worked in the restaurant industry for several years, which required a ridiculous amount of patience and face muscle stamina to keep a cheery smile on through it all.

Lakes or ocean?

I love the lake, but there’s just something about the ocean.  The first time I saw the Pacific, I waded in up to my knees.  While lakes have a calming quality about them, I immediately felt this overwhelmingly huge force of nature knocking against my shins.  It made any lake I’d ever been in seem so small in comparison.

What’s something you’ve been meaning to try but just haven’t gotten around to it?

Paddle boarding.  If it doesn’t happen when I go to Hawai’i in November, it’ll happen next summer at the lake!

Summarize yourself in 3 words.

Creative, kind, fun
