Spotlight on…Barb Krause!

This week we sat down with Barb Krause, the Publisher of Nei-Turner Media Group. Barb oversees the entire staff and all projects under the Nei-Turner umbrella, and does it all with an easy-going smile.

Hometown:

I’ve lived in Lake Geneva since the age of five. We moved here from the Kettle Moraine, just before I started my kindergarten year, so my dad could take the Superintendent position at Big Foot Beach State Park.

Street cred:

I didn’t have a life before Nei-Turner; I started working for Bill Turner in 1994. I was a few years out of college and newly married at the time.

What is your creative outlet?

Cooking American comfort food for friends and family who help me consume it.

What’s your favorite part about working for Nei-Turner Media Group?

I like everyone’s sense of humor. It feels so good to laugh.

In the office, you are the one who…

stays positive and enjoys trouble-shooting.

If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?

I would read. I wish I could read more but I do need my sleep.

If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning medal for?

Reading.

What’s something you’ve been meaning to try but just haven’t gotten around to it?

I would love to learn how to knit.
